What is Cooking

This page tells you what new features are under development and when those can be expected to be released. Mostly new features are planned according to the feedback which we receive from our users and colleges. So we will always encourage you to please take a minute's time and let us know what you want to see in CEN. While implementing a new feature our motive has always been to care for every little detail to ensure ease of use and usefulness of a feature.

Below is a list of features which are currently being considered or are under development.

  1. Tag content with interest:    (Expected Release Date: 10-July-2009    Priority: P1)
    Now that we can define various interests into the system our next objective is to enable users to tag content by these interests. So that it will be displayed and broadcasted to people based on their subscribed interests.


  2. Drop messages to individual people:    (Expected Release Date: 13-June-2009    Priority: P1)
    As of now users of CEN can send bulk messages to a group of people from "Send Message" screen, but whatif they want to contact individual people, it's not there yet. We will try to add this soon.


  3. Multiple Schools Subscription:    (Expected Release Date: 30-June-2009    Priority: P1)
    Using this feature One registered CEN User can associate himself/herself with multiple schools.


  4. Suggest a feature:    (Expected Release Date: 21-Oct-2008 - Deferred    Priority: P4)
    Any user will be able to suggest us what new feature they want in CEN. Those suggestions will be tracked and will be visible to everyone along with what response CEN team gives and when they can be expected. Till this feature is not available users are requested to kindly send suggestions in the form of email on care@nastec.biz


  5. School News Board/News Archive:    (Expected Release Date: 31-Oct-2008 - Deferred    Priority: P3)
    School's administrator will be able to create/update news related to their school in CEN and it will show up on their website.


  6. Student Fee Management:    (Expected Release Date: 25-Nov-2008 - Deferred    Priority: P3)
    School's account's division users will be able to update fee details of students.
